1. Agreement and eligibility
By using BLACKLINE, creating a stencil or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use BLACKLINE for a studio or business, you confirm you are authorised to act for it.
2. What BLACKLINE provides
BLACKLINE converts a supplied reference into an AI-assisted tattoo stencil and offers plan-dependent downloads, Advanced Options, exact-size printing and private project storage. Artists must verify the complete output against the source before transfer. It is a professional aid, not an automatic instruction to tattoo an output exactly as generated.
3. Your artwork, authority and consent
You retain your rights in material you submit. You grant BLACKLINE and its service providers a limited right to process that material solely to operate, secure and support the service. You must own the material or have permission to use it. If a person is identifiable, you must have any informed consent required for AI-assisted processing and tattoo-design preparation.
You must not upload unlawful, stolen, confidential, non-consensual intimate, exploitative or abusive material; content that sexualises minors; or material that infringes another person's rights. You must not evade quotas, automate abusive generation, probe another member's vault or interfere with the service.
4. AI limitations and tattooist responsibility
BLACKLINE creates an AI-assisted interpretation, not an exact copy. It may simplify, omit, move or reinterpret details to make the design clearer and easier to read as a tattoo. Always compare the complete stencil with the original and make any artist-led corrections before transfer or tattooing. Any clean-looking drawing is a professional aid rather than a guarantee of mathematical identity.
5. Free account, Artist, Pro and credits
- Free account: one complete, full-quality, unwatermarked stencil and professional PNG download per verified email account per UTC calendar month. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the month and does not roll over. No payment card is required. JPG and PSD saves, Advanced Options, exact-size printing and private storage are not included.
- Artist: 15 completed stencils per calendar month and professional PNG, JPG and layered PSD saves. Artist does not include Advanced Options, Precision Print Studio or the private Vault.
- Pro: 50 stencils are added each calendar month, with professional PNG, JPG and layered PSD saves, Advanced Options, an original + stencil Reference Overlay with manual fine-tuning, exact-size tiled printing with a mirror control for transfer, and private storage for up to 100 current projects. Downloaded PNG, JPG and PSD files remain in source orientation. Unused Pro stencils roll over while Pro remains active, up to a maximum subscription balance of 100.
- One-off credit pack: 10 additional completed stencils for A$9.99 with professional PNG, JPG and layered PSD saves. It does not include Advanced Options, Precision Print Studio or the private Vault; it does not renew, requires verified email sign-in so unused credits remain recoverable across devices, and the credits do not expire.
Artist allowances reset each calendar month and do not roll over. Pro rollover applies only while Pro subscription access remains active. Purchased credit-pack credits are held separately, are used after available Pro subscription credits, do not count toward the 100-stencil subscription cap and do not expire merely through inactivity while the account and service remain available. A failed generation that BLACKLINE can identify as incomplete is returned to the available balance. Reasonable security and daily-capacity limits may temporarily delay generation. BLACKLINE may use verification, rate limits and limited security signals to prevent repeated free claims or automated misuse.
A credit pack is attached to the verified BLACKLINE account used at checkout. Unused pack credits can be restored by signing in with that same email on another supported device. Keep the Stripe receipt as proof of purchase when contacting support about a billing or entitlement problem.
6. Prices, renewals and cancellation
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST for Australian customers. Blackline Stencil is GST registered under ABN 92 706 350 089. Monthly and yearly plans automatically renew at the displayed interval until cancelled. The checkout page shows the amount before payment. You may cancel through Stripe's billing portal when available or by contacting BLACKLINE support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no further renewal. There is no early-termination fee.
Pro rollover credits remain available through an active paid access period. They may become unavailable when Pro access ends or the account changes to another plan. A temporary payment issue may pause access without erasing the stored Pro balance. Purchased credit-pack credits remain separate.
BLACKLINE may change future pricing with reasonable notice. A price change does not alter a period already paid for and will not apply retrospectively.
7. Mental-health research commitment
BLACKLINE sets aside 10% of its net profit for the Society for Mental Health Research. For this commitment, net profit is calculated after refunds, GST, ordinary operating costs and income-tax provision. The amount is set aside monthly and donated quarterly.
A BLACKLINE purchase is payment for a service, not a donation or a tax-deductible gift by the customer. BLACKLINE makes the donation from its own profit. Any future change to the nominated recipient or calculation will be disclosed on the website before it applies to a future profit period.
8. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Change-of-mind refunds are not promised for a period or credit pack already used. This does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Services supplied to Australian consumers come with automatic consumer guarantees. If BLACKLINE has a major problem or cannot supply what was purchased, you may be entitled to a remedy such as cancellation, replacement service or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. 9. Private vault
Pro projects are private to the signed-in account and are saved only when the member chooses to save them. Storage is not a permanent archive or backup service. Keep independent copies of important files and delete client data that is no longer needed.
10. Availability, suspension and changes
BLACKLINE may maintain, improve or replace features and may suspend access to protect users, control extraordinary costs, comply with law or investigate a breach. We will not knowingly continue charging for a period in which the paid service cannot be supplied and will provide an appropriate solution where required by law.
11. Intellectual property
BLACKLINE's software, brand, interfaces, prompts and original materials remain owned by BLACKLINE or its licensors. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use a rightfully generated output for your tattoo-design work. Outputs may not be unique, and BLACKLINE does not promise that they are free of all third-party rights.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, BLACKLINE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by an artist's failure to inspect an output, or unauthorised material submitted by a user. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the affected service or the amount paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms limits a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply elsewhere. Questions, billing concerns, cancellation requests and notices may be sent to blacklinestencil@gmail.com.
